So, I love to read the newest fashion magazines every month but honestly now a days to me…its depressing.  

Why?…

 Because it seems like the models are shrinking more and more every year and I’m not!   lol.

Seriously, because of this, I used to ask myself….where do I fit in this lifestyle?    

I am honestly one to admit that I was lead to belive that if I was not able to fit into that skirt or those jeans that the model selling them was wearing, I just was not ”normal”. It effected not only my body image but also my self esteem.

Unfortunately, these are issues that not only I, but teens and women everywhere deal with.

  Most models in today’s industry are really noting like the average consumers that buy the products….. so why are they so appealing?

It is because thin is definitely in.

 Theres even a market for anorexic models….

These are some of the extreme examples…..

So, has looking ideal become more important then being healthy?….seems so.

Over time I have come to understand that I don’t have to kill myself with crash diets that dont really work or stress over it… all I have to do is be myself, be as healthy as I can be and accept that I was not made to be a size 0.

Basically the way that I look at it is that we are all born differently.

Not one person is meant to be the same size, weight, shape…etc.

We should all accept ourselves no matter what size we are.

Most importantly I belive that we should realize that our own beauty is special and never rate it on the size of clothes we wear.
